Saving nature STARTS IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD
hy Native Plants?
Doug Tallamy's "Gardening for Life."
Native plants were growing in this area before the 1500s when European colonists brought other plants here. Native insects evolved with these plants and can subsist only on those specific indigenous flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees.
This is what we at Meadowscaping for Biodiversity (MS4B) have been teaching students and adults since 2014! Everyone can do their part, by planting native plants in their yards, business properties and public parks.
